This year Gazeley are excited to introduce their first charity bike ride. Taking place on Thursday 7th June 2018. The event promises to be a great day, with a 50-mile route from Magna Park Lutterworth to Magna Park Milton Keynes or a 100-mile circular route starting at Magna Park Milton Keynes to Magna Park Lutterworth and back again meandering in and out of country villages on a predominantly flat route.

Entry to the event is £50 per participant (plus admin fee). We are delighted to be raising funds for our chosen charity, Dementia UK, 100% of your entry fee will go to the charity. With your support it means Dementia UK can provide specialist Admiral Nurses to families affected by dementia. Admiral Nurses work alongside families to give them the one-to-one support, expert guidance and practical solutions they need to face dementia with more confidence and less fear.

Riders of all abilities are welcome, from the seasoned pro to beginners. It doesn’t matter when you cross the finishing line it’s the taking part that counts. A support team will be available throughout the ride and there will be plenty of pit stops. Join us for a great day out whilst raising money for a great cause, why not sign up today!

The ride will commence at our new development Altitude in Magna Park, Milton Keynes. Both registration and hot Breakfast will be available here for all participants prior to the ride as well as post ride hospitality.

The Route: 100 mile and a 50 mile route.

100 mile route

The 100 mile route starts at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes and will take a route north towards Northampton and on to our development Tornado 186, Magna Park, Lutterworth.

Arrival at Tornado 186 will provide riders with a pit stop for refreshments. Once energy has been regained, 100 mile riders will continue their cycle looping south past Rugby and Daventry leading them to the finish line at Milton Keynes.

50 mile route

The 50 mile route will start at Tornado 186, Magna Park, Lutterworth, joining the 100 mile cyclists looping south past Rugby and Daventry and onto the finish line at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes.

We encourage all participants to arrive and park at Altitude, Magna Park Milton Keynes at 0730, this is where both rides finish and where you’ll find the post event hospitality. After breakfast and the 100 mile start, 50 mile riders will be transported (and their bikes) to Magna Park, Lutterworth for the 50 mile start.

The two distances and routes chosen offer something for everyone, whether you’re a beginner, intermediate or more experienced cyclist. The ride is through open roads with a full support team in case you require any assistance on route. Regular Pit Stops, approximately every 25 miles, also mean there are plenty of refreshments and support on the way around the route.

Entry costs £50 and includes:

  • Hot breakfast on arrival at Altitude
  • Pit Stops on route
  • Post ride BBQ and complimentary drink
