50 mile and 100 mile routes

Entry fee
Entry costs £50 and includes breakfast on arrival, a bespoke event jersey and optional transport to the 50 mile start in Lutterworth from Milton Keynes, BBQ post event and complimentary alcoholic or soft drink

Important note
There are 2 distance options; 100 miles and 50 miles.
The 100 mile route starts and finishes at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
The 50 mile route starts at Tornado 186, Magna Park, Lutterworth and finishes at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes. We encourage all participants to arrive and park at Altitude, Magna Park Milton Keynes as this is where they will finish. After breakfast and the 100 mile start 50 mile riders will be transported (and their bikes) to Magna Park, Lutterworth for the 50 mile start

Car parking
There is sufficient, free-of-charge car parking at both Altitude in Milton Keynes and Tornado 186 in Lutterworth, we do however encourage car-sharing wherever possible

Registration
On arrival please report to Registration:

  • 100 miles at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes open from 0730 – 0840, please do not arrive before 0730
  • 50 miles at Tornado 186, Magna Park, Lutterworth open from 1100 – 1140

We advise that you arrive at least 45 minutes before your distance start time. This allows sufficient time for you to register, have breakfast, change into your bespoke cycling event jersey and use any facilities needed prior to your start

Start times
The 100 mile ride will start at 0900 from Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes.
The 50 mile ride will start at 1200 from Tornado 186, Magna Park, Lutterworth.
Whichever distance you are completing, you will need to arrive at least 45 minutes before your start time to register for the ride.
Breakfast is available for all participants from 0730 at Altitude, Milton Keynes. 50 mile riders will be transported after breakfast and the 100 mile start from Altitude in Milton Keynes to the 50 mile start at Tornado 186 in Lutterworth

Bike mechanic
A bike mechanic will be at the 100 and 50 mile starts for any emergency, last minute repairs

Breakfast
A breakfast bap / baguette or hot porridge pot with tea, coffee or a soft drink will be available for all participants (100 and 50 milers) at Altitude in Milton Keynes. The breakfast bap options are sausage, egg and bacon or vegetarian sausage.

Transport
All 50 mile riders (and their bikes) will be transported after breakfast and the 100 mile start from Altitude in Milton Keynes to the 50 mile start at Tornado 186 in Lutterworth. Both the 100 mile and 50 mile ride finish at Altitude in Milton Keynes

Routes
You can view the current planned routes here. The routes are to be used as an indicator of the planned routes; routes continue to go through further development, review and recce prior to the ride. The routes are subject to change, including on the day of the event, due to road closures, accidents, weather etc. The final route will be fully signed on the day. Please ensure you follow the route signage on the day

Pit stops
Specially prepared complimentary refreshments will be available at pit stops on each route. Toilets will also be available. Participants are advised to bring a water bottle to refill at the stops. There will be 3 pit stops on the 100 mile route at approximately 25 mile intervals and 1 pit stop on the 50 mile route at approximately 25 miles

Post ride hospitality
On your return to Altitude in Milton Keynes there will be a complimentary BBQ and well-earned drink for all participants – both alcoholic and soft drinks will be available. The BBQ is available until 1830 and bar until 1900

Event finish
The event will end and close at 1900

Jersey
As part of your entry you will receive a bespoke complimentary Gazeley Bike Ride cycling jersey for the event. You will need to select your size when you complete your online entry

Please note: These are cm measurements and are across the chest only (not around the back as well). Generally you want a jersey to fit well, so we would advise going for a smaller rather than larger size as you don’t want a cycling jersey to be baggy

Facilities
Toilets will be available at both Altitude in Milton Keynes and Tornado 186 in Lutterworth

Cash machines
They are no cash machines at either Altitude in Milton Keynes and Tornado 186 in Lutterworth

Disabled access
Parking is available for participants with disabilities, with same level access into the event spaces and a disabled toilet. Please do let us know if you have any particular access requirements prior to the event

Additional information
At least 1 week prior to the bike ride you will receive your Rider Information Pack by email. This provides all additional information you need to know about the event. Terms and Conditions
All participants need to adhere to the Gazeley Bike Ride Terms and Conditions in order to register and take part in the event

Our key Terms and Conditions are:

  • The ride is an open road event
  • Always put yours and other road users’ safety first
  • It is compulsory for participants to wear a cycling helmet at all times whilst riding in the event. Any rider without a cycling helmet on the day will banned from participating
  • All participants must comply with the Highway Code at all times and ride appropriately on open roads
  • Cyclists are not permitted to ride more than two abreast
  • Do not use a music player with headphones whilst cycling
  • Wearing the individual Rider Number supplied is compulsory
  • All riders must finish at Altitude, Magna Park, Milton Keynes by 1800
  • Participants must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs
  • Participants must have appropriate liability, personal accident and equipment insurance in place. Valid and appropriate Public Liability Insurance is in place for the event
